Councilman Eddie Ambrosino has represented the people of the 2nd District since his first election in 2003.  The Councilman is a proponent of business and smart development and was instrumental in the effort to tear down the Courtesy Hotel in West Hempstead.

A proud father of three children,  Ed volunteers his time as a Trustee for the YMCA, a Trustee for Briarcliffe College, a Trustee for The Nassau County Medical Center Foundation, a  founding member of the Wyngate Drive West Block Party Committee,  former co-chair of the Elmont Redevelopment Coalition, a Knight of Columbus, a  Kiwanian, an Elk,  PDK Society of Adelphi University, volunteer counsel to the Elmont Dad's Service Club and a  volunteer counsel to the Pat Cairo Family Foundation, Inc.

Ed is a practicing attorney and is of counsel to Ruskin Moscou Faltisheck, P.C. in Uniondale. Councilman Ambrosino is a recognized authority on Economic Development and IDA Financings and will be teaching a course he developed, "Leveraging the Public/Private Partnership"at New York Law School next year.
